Pinnacle Mt. is 10 miles from Sutton as you travel the Glenn Highway from Palmer. As you wind along the Matanuska River, you will pass King River, the Chugach Mountains on your right where King Mountain looms ahead. There is a great spot to stop and walk out to the river on sandy beach. Once you reach the Pinnacle RV Park and Cafe, you will greeted by owners Marvin and Jill. The cafe features homemade daily specials and great homemade pies. The RV park is set to accommodate your RV, campers and semi trucks for an overnight or longer. The animal zoo is a favorite for locals, where else can you see over 100 different animals, Llamas, pigs, goats are scattered throughout the property, a fun spot for kids and adults.
Clean bathrooms with hot showers and a laundry gives you a wonderful spot to rest, eat and get ready for your next adventure along the Glenn Highway Scenic Byway. Stop in and say hello, Alaskans are a friendly group of people, always ready to talk and give you some tid – bit of useful information, don’t be shy, ask about what you don’t know.
Marvin is very proud of his collection of Antique Tractors, the largest collection from just about anywhere!!!!! Jill loves the animals and can tell you all about each one, like her children they have raised most of them since birth. Fresh eggs from her chickens and milk and cheese from her goats are juts a few of the surprises you find at this one kind of RV Park and Cafe.
